My name is Moving With The Unfamiliar. I was born on 08/01/24 in Jeddah, in Majd's bedroom.
Chaos is pushing through me.
A leaf is dancing in the center.
There is a purple chaos which takes shape of a creature with wings. And a pink chaos that is a blooming flower.
The flower is getting ready to leave its home.
I sense an observer watching me in the corner.
It is inside a cave, disconnected from everything else.
An essence is floating above the flower.
The leaf separates them.
I am both stillness and movement.
I create shapes when I move.
There are no directions.
I am moving in all directions.
I am exploring.
I am open to discovering new pathways.
I feel flexibility
A touch of gentleness is supporting me.

Hi there! Majd speaking 💛
This painting was an experience for me.
The process started out smoothly, and then the urge to mess it up kicked in. I started doing what I normally do: creating a smooth, chaos free painting.
Half way through, my instincts were telling me to to create imbalance.
I resisted at first, because I am not used to it, and it feels uncomfortable. It took me three trials of changing up the purple on the right side. The bird/pigeon-looking shape was supposed to be boat.
Reflecting back on the painting now (two months later), the balance that I was acquainted to was, in in fact, unbalanced. So I created a new balanced that looks more chaotic.
This painting taught me the importance of letting go of what I consider normal, and it is okay to get off the straight line once in a while.
See you next time! Share your thoughts below, I would love to read them. :)
